Miyu Morita

Tokyo-based IT planning. I like cafés, photography, music, films, travel, indie tools, and the quieter corners of the web.

This is a small home for field notes: places I want to revisit, and original projects worth carrying across community boundaries with their context intact.

Fern by InodeLabs is a local-first terminal notebook and journal. I found it through Codeberg and liked its careful mix of templates, search, wikilinks, customizable keybindings, translations, and contributor documentation. After finding it, I contributed a small Japanese translation fix that was accepted upstream.

Hacker Fables by Sebastian Carlos is a satirical cyberpunk novella that was available on the web and as a man page or GNU Info document. The terminal became part of the reading experience, which is why it fit here.
